If your torso is larger than 21” please choose the Large option and note your actual torso measurement in the notes prompted after adding the pack to your cart. No extra charge will be added.
If your torso measurement is on the larger end of a size be sure to size up. (ex: If your torso measurement is 17”, choose medium 17”-19” instead of small 15”-17”)
SM/Med padded hip belts fit up to a 28-34” waist. LG is 36” and up. (Actual measurement around waist.
Comfortable carry weight is 18-22lbs (up to 27lbs with a padded hipbelt) Max recommended carry weight is 30lbs.

Pack weight w/o removables = 15oz.
The 30L Meadowlark UltraGrid pack is ultralight and fully frameless. This pack weighs between 14oz and 19oz depending on configuration and add ons. The internal capacity of this pack is 30L with 10L+ additional storage capacity with the external pockets for a total capacity of 40-42L.
The main pack body is made from UltraGrid along with the pockets and straps. This fabric is fully recycled, non-toxic, and waterproof.
The pack employs three stretch pockets made from Ultrastretch which is less stretchy but much stronger and durable than typical spandex stretch materials. There is a large vertical main front stretch pocket along with a side entry front facing pocket, and side entry pocket on the bottom of the pack for extra storage and independent organization. Packs are also now coming standard with a side stretch pocket with our Logo on it.
The “down the side” roll top compression straps are removable so the roll top can be closed with side compression or over the top methods depending on preference.
Packs include two straps that run underneath the pack for a place to attach any extra (light >5lbs) items such as a tent, roll pad, etc.
A Y-strap for the rolltop.
S-style straps are 2.5” wide and made with 1/2” closed cell foam. All packs come standard with a sternum strap and a 1” removable webbing hip belt unless a padded hip belt is added.
Packs include a single elastic shock cord compression on each side of the pack, front elastic shock cord system must be chosen as an option or it will not be included.
All main seams are bound. Secondary seams are taped.
